Hi, I’m Joan Mancing
Today, I feel more energized, confident, and positive about my future than ever before. I’ve realized the benefits of healthy eating, exercise, and better sleep. And, after a lifetime of trial and error, I’ve learned better ways of handling all of life’s stresses.
I’m currently in my mid 50s.
If you’re a woman over 40, I can help you find this same confidence and good health for yourself.
In my 40s, I experienced obstacles to feeling good. I mostly suffered in (resentful) silence.
I was juggling a legal career, a spouse, kids, and an aging father, all who needed my time and attention. My calendar was overflowing.
As a result, everything suffered. I was exhausted. My cholesterol, cortisol, and inflammation levels went through the roof. I had an unhappy gut and my first panic attack. I dropped healthy habits, left my legal career, gained weight, etc. etc, etc.
I was just getting by. I didn’t even realize how bad I felt.
I’d had enough.
Leaning into my lifelong love of books and learning, I slowly but surely read my way out. When perimenopause hit, I once again found myself facing obstacles: hot flashes, fatigue, and belly weight gain. But I persevered, forming better habits that kept me feeling vibrant, well, and happy.
I tamed the “midlife squeeze.” I’m here to help you do the same–faster.
I’ve channeled these lessons and my desire to help other women into a new career. As a National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach, I’m excited to partner with you in authoring your next chapter: CHAPTER 3.
